GIORNI 9-12: MANAUS
GIORNO 9: Prima colazione in hotel. In prima mattinata si effettuerà il transfer in aeroporto per imbarcarsi sul volo che porterà a Manaus (con uno scalo). Pranzo a bordo. Arrivo a Manaus nel pomeriggio; il tempo rimanente sarà impiegato nella sistemazione in hotel e alla visita dei dintorni, visitando il Teatro Amazonas. In serata ritorno in hotel per la cena e il pernottamento.
It is the monument symbol of Manaus and it’s an opera theatre. It offers, with its internal rooms, a sensational visit. The architectural style is neo-renaissance and the materials with which it was built come from different parts of the world. The dome of the theatre is covered by thousands of ceramic tiles painted in blue and yellow to remind to the Brazil flag.
GIORNO 10: Prima colazione in hotel. In mattinata visita della città di Manaus: visiterete il Mercado Adolpho Lisboa e il Palácio Rio Negro. Pranzo in un ristorante tipico. Nel pomeriggio si arriverà con una macchina fino al porto per poi prendere un sicuro motoscafo che vi porterà alla scoperta dell’incontro delle acque dei due fiumi e del lago January con le sue ninfee giganti. In serata ritorno in hotel per la cena e il pernottamento.
It is a marketplace in Manaus and it is located on the shore of the Rio Negro. It was built in the nineteenth century and its material come from Paris. Here you can find fresh fruits, spices and fish.
It is an historical palace and it was a seat of government. Now it is the residence of the state governor. Before it was called Scholz Palace.
This phenomenon, called Meeting of Waters, consists on the confluence of two rivers: the Rio Negro (it is dark) and the Rio of the Amazons (with the colour of the sand). For some kilometres their waters don’t mix.
It’s a lake in Manaus where you can see big green waterlilies. It is the lake with the largest number of waterlilies in Brazil.
GIORNO 11: Prima colazione in hotel. In mattinata ci si sposterà con il pullman fino a Novo Airão (circa 3 ore di viaggio). Pranzo libero. Nel pomeriggio si arriverà al Parque Nacional de Anavilhanas, dove si passerà la giornata, visitandolo in barca. In serata ritorno in hotel per la cena e il pernottamento.
It is a national park that comprehends a huge river archipelago in the Rio Negro. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
GIORNO 12: Prima colazione in hotel. In mattinata ci sarà la visita al Museu do Seringal Vila Paraiso. Pranzo in un ristorante tipico. Pomeriggio dedicato al relax sulla spiaggia Praia da Lua per godersi l’ultimo giorno a Manaus. Cena in ristorante tipico a Manaus e serata libera. Ritorno in hotel per il pernottamento.
It’s a museum where the guides explain to the visitors the process to product rubber. They also talk about the difference between the producer, that almost lived in slavery, and the plantation’s owner.
It is a nice beach near the Museu do Seringal Vila Paraiso and it can be reached by boat. It changes during the year because, when the level of the river is high the beach is almost small. The sand is clear.
